These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of My Market Stop. By accessing the website, creating an account, or posting a listing, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use My Market Stop.

1. About My Market Stop

My Market Stop is an online marketplace that allows users to post and browse listings.

The website provides users with tools to create listings, browse user-generated content, and communicate with one another regarding listings.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, My Market Stop is not a party to transactions between users and does not directly participate in payments, shipping, delivery, negotiations, or the fulfillment of agreements between buyers and sellers.

My Market Stop does not take ownership of items listed by users and is not the seller or buyer of those items.

2. Account Registration and Eligibility

To post a listing, you must have an active My Market Stop account.

You may create an account using:

  • an email address and password; or
  • an existing Google account.

For either registration method, My Market Stop may require email verification before the account is activated.

You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating and using your account.

Unless otherwise permitted by applicable law, you must be at least 18 years old or the age of legal majority in your state or jurisdiction, whichever is higher, to create an account and use My Market Stop independently.

Certain items, services, or transactions may be subject to a higher minimum age, including an age requirement of 21 or older, depending on applicable federal, state, or local law. Users are responsible for determining and complying with all age restrictions applicable to a listing or transaction.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your account credentials. You are responsible for activity conducted through your account, except where otherwise provided by applicable law.

You may not create a false account, impersonate another person, use another person’s information without authorization, or misuse the website or its features.

3. Posting Listings

You are responsible for the content of every listing you post.

Each listing must contain accurate, truthful, current, and non-misleading information. You may not post false, deceptive, fraudulent, unlawful, abusive, or otherwise prohibited content.

Listings should include, where applicable:

  • a clear title;
  • the appropriate category;
  • an accurate description;
  • an accurate price;
  • the applicable location;
  • current and representative photos; and
  • accurate contact information where such information is required or displayed.

A listing may include up to 8 images. The maximum file size for each image is 10 MB.

Listings remain active for 30 days unless they are deleted earlier by the user, expire under applicable listing rules, or are removed or restricted by My Market Stop.

My Market Stop may reject, edit, restrict, hide, disable, or remove a listing that violates these Terms, applicable law, the rights of another person, or the safe and proper operation of the website.

4. Prohibited and Regulated Content

You may not use My Market Stop to list, advertise, offer, request, facilitate, or promote anything that is illegal or prohibited under applicable federal, state, or local law.

Prohibited content includes, but is not limited to:

  • illegal goods or services;
  • goods or services whose sale, possession, distribution, transfer, or advertisement is prohibited by applicable law;
  • false, deceptive, fraudulent, or materially misleading information;
  • counterfeit goods, fraudulent documents, or fraudulent services;
  • stolen property or items the seller does not have the legal right to sell;
  • content that infringes copyrights, trademarks, publicity rights, privacy rights, or other rights of third parties;
  • abusive, discriminatory, threatening, harassing, sexually explicit, or otherwise prohibited content;
  • spam, bulk postings, or unnecessary duplicate listings; and
  • links to fraudulent, malicious, deceptive, phishing, or otherwise harmful websites.

Some goods and services may be legal only under specific conditions or in certain jurisdictions. Where My Market Stop permits such a category, users are solely responsible for complying with all applicable:

  • minimum-age requirements, including any applicable 18+ or 21+ requirement;
  • federal, state, county, and local laws and regulations;
  • licenses, registrations, permits, and certifications;
  • background-check or identity-verification requirements;
  • shipping, transportation, transfer, and delivery restrictions; and
  • disclosure, recordkeeping, tax, and other legal requirements.

An item being lawful in one state does not mean that it may lawfully be offered, sold, shipped, delivered, possessed, or transferred in another state or locality.

Users may not use My Market Stop to avoid or circumvent any licensing requirement, permit requirement, age restriction, required background check, required transfer procedure, or other legal restriction.

My Market Stop may prohibit a category entirely even where an item or service may otherwise be lawful in some jurisdictions.

My Market Stop may remove or restrict prohibited or potentially unlawful content without prior notice where permitted by law.

5. Transactions Between Users

My Market Stop provides a platform for users to post and browse listings and communicate with one another. Unless expressly stated otherwise, transactions are negotiated and completed directly between users.

My Market Stop is not the seller, buyer, broker, agent, representative, or guarantor in transactions between users.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, My Market Stop is not responsible for:

  • the quality, safety, legality, condition, authenticity, or origin of goods or services offered by users;
  • the accuracy of user listings or representations;
  • payments made between users;
  • shipping or delivery;
  • canceled or incomplete transactions;
  • the conduct of buyers, sellers, or other users; or
  • losses, damages, disagreements, or disputes arising from transactions or communications between users.

Users are responsible for evaluating the risks associated with communicating, paying, shipping, delivering, or meeting with another user.

Users are also responsible for determining whether a transaction is lawful in their state and locality and, when applicable, in the other user’s jurisdiction.

6. User Responsibilities

When using My Market Stop, you agree to:

  • use the website lawfully and in good faith;
  • provide accurate and current information;
  • comply with applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations;
  • comply with applicable age, licensing, registration, permit, and transfer requirements;
  • respect the rights of other users and third parties;

7. My Market Stop's Rights

To the extent permitted by applicable law, My Market Stop may:

  • review, restrict, hide, reject, or remove listings that violate these Terms or applicable policies;
  • suspend, restrict, or terminate accounts involved in abuse, fraud, unlawful activity, or repeated violations;
  • request additional information when reasonably necessary to investigate suspected violations;
  • take reasonable measures to protect users, the website, and third parties;
  • modify, suspend, discontinue, or remove website features;
  • perform maintenance, security updates, and technical changes; and
  • update these Terms of Use.

In cases involving serious or repeated violations, suspected fraud, unlawful conduct, security risks, or risks to other users, My Market Stop may restrict or terminate access without prior notice where permitted by applicable law.

My Market Stop’s decision not to remove a listing does not constitute approval, endorsement, certification, or confirmation that the listing or transaction complies with applicable law.

8. Intellectual Property

The My Market Stop website, including its design, structure, branding, logos, original text, interface elements, software, and website functionality, is protected by applicable intellectual property laws unless otherwise stated.

You retain ownership of content you submit to My Market Stop, subject to any rights held by third parties.

By posting content, you grant My Market Stop a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, format, and otherwise use that content as reasonably necessary to operate, provide, improve, secure, and promote the marketplace and your listings, subject to applicable law and our Privacy Policy.

You represent that you have the rights and permissions necessary to upload and use the content you submit.

You may not copy, distribute, scrape, reproduce, or commercially exploit content from My Market Stop without authorization except where permitted by applicable law.

Claims involving copyright infringement may be subject to separate copyright or DMCA procedures maintained by My Market Stop.

9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

My Market Stop works to maintain a functional, secure, and accessible marketplace, but we do not guarantee that the website will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the website and its services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.

10. Account Suspension and Termination

You may request deletion of your account by contacting My Market Stop at admin@mymarketstop.com using the email address associated with your account.

My Market Stop may restrict, suspend, or terminate an account for violations of these Terms, misuse of the website, suspected fraud or unlawful conduct, security concerns, or behavior that may harm other users, third parties, or the platform.

After an account is deleted or terminated, certain information may be retained for a limited or legally required period where reasonably necessary to:

  • comply with legal obligations;
  • resolve disputes;
  • enforce agreements;
  • prevent fraud, abuse, or security incidents; or
